Insurance solutions for Work & Travel Programs

Work & Travel participants combine short-term employment with travel, moving between structured work environments and independent exploration.

Their insurance should be flexible, affordable, and adaptable — covering both job-related activities and personal experiences along the way.

That’s why our solutions are designed for short-term programs, offering customizable coverage, reliable access to care, and peace of mind for participants and your organization.

Supporting Your Program Responsibilities

What matters most in Work & Travel Programs?

Work & Travel programs bring together structured work environments and individual freedom — from hospitality roles to agricultural settings and everything in between. Participants’ activities can vary widely, and insurance must reflect this flexibility — with coverage that adapts to different roles, lifestyles, and locations while remaining accessible and cost-effective.

Activity-based Coverage

Work & Travel programs vary widely depending on the role and location. Coverage should adapt to job-related and leisure activities, based on the specific program setup.

Affordable Plan Design

Short-term participants need cost-effective solutions. Plans should offer flexible deductibles, copays, and overall pricing to match different budgets.

Telemedicine

Quick access to care is essential, especially in unfamiliar environments. Telemedicine provides fast medical support without unnecessary complexity or travel.

Baggage Insurance

Participants are often on the move. Coverage should include protection for lost, stolen, or delayed baggage during their entire time abroad.
