Virtual Healthcare has become an important topic for students and scholars since the Covid-19 crisis. For this reason, unlimited virtual care is included as standard in all our plans with no copay for medical and mental health services and no claims to file!
A robust mental health offering provides immediate 24/7/365 access to counselors for 'in the moment' therapy, and longer term needs can be handled by appointments made with counselors or psychiatrists.
Acute medical conditions, such as sinus or urinary tract infections can be handled by telemedicine, common skin conditions by dermatologists, and STI testing can be ordered, and results analyzed. Trained physicians can treat all these acute conditions and prescribe medications (except maintenance medications and controlled substances).
All available at no out-of-pocket costs (except prescriptions and lab tests) at the student's location and time of choice!
