When traveling to the U.S., one of the biggest differences you'll encounter is the healthcare system. Unlike many other countries, medical care in the U.S. is not free — in fact, it can be extremely expensive. That’s why having private health insurance is not just a recommendation; it’s essential!
Once your exchange organization enrolls you in the insurance plan, you will receive a welcome email with all the details about your coverage. This email includes a link to your MyInsurance account, where you can access all important information. It’s very important that you set up your MyInsurance account and log in before your departure.
